Man shoots 2 at Alabama doctor's facility before executing self; 1 casualty dead

One man is dead and another is in basic condition after a shooter opened fire at an Alabama healing facility before lethally shooting himself, police said early Thursday morning.

Birmingham police Lt. Diminish Williston said Wednesday police were called to UAB Good countries Doctor's facility 6:55 p.m. Officers discovered two casualties alongside the shooter who had kicked the bucket of a self-perpetrated gunfire, Williston said.

"One casualty is in stable condition," Williston said early Thursday morning. "Shockingly, I need to report the second casualty did not survive and was articulated expired amid surgery," he said.
